Author bio: Hon. Justice (Dr) Latifat Folami (nee Kabiawu) was called to the Nigerian Bar on 16th Dec. 1992 upon qualifying as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with a degree from the Nigerian Law School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (B.Sc Hons.,1987), a degree in law (LL.B, Hons.,1991) and a postgraduate degree in Law (LL.M, Hons. 1999) all from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She later obtained her Doctorate Degree in Leadership and Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, Arizona, USA in 2013. Justice Folami is a High Court Judge. She was appointed to the High Court bench of the Lagos State Judiciary in 2010. Hon. Justice Folami served as the Chief Registrar of the Lagos State Judiciary between March 2008 and September 2010 and as a Magistrate between November 1996 and July 2010.
