Aspire
In the book ‘Aspire’ Eyen saw her father’s businesses grow to be the references for great businesses then they failed one after the other. She did not want any such thing to happen to her so she sought counsel but in a different way. Eyen sought counsel from different experts who had successful businesses in different sectors of the economy and applied the lessons and she liked the outcome.
About the Author
Ekaette Umoh is a visiting member of faculty of Enterprise Development Centre, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos.
Ekaette is President, Lagos Business School Alumni Association, Northern Region, Senior Advisor at H. Pierson Associates, immediate past President, League of Akwa Ibom Professionals and also immediate past National Vice President, NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women(NNEW); Ekaette is committed to helping small and medium-sized businesses grow and succeed. She draws from her wealth of experience as a chartered accountant and chartered microfinance banker; with over fourteen years of banking experience in both deposit money banks and microfinance banking.
During her time in the microfinance banking sub-sector, she founded and ran a microfinance bank for eight years; and was the National Treasurer of the National Association of Microfinance Banks (NAMB) at one point.
Ekaette Umoh is the author of two widely acclaimed books: Aspire: Starting A Successful Business and Those Teenage Years.
